Manufacturing Day Success for 2026
Yesterday on September 21st, The Martin County Alliance collaborated with both Loogootee Community Schools and Shoals Community School Corporation and got the 8th graders in Martin County out to manufacturing businesses in Martin County. đź’Ľ 🛠️ 🚌Â
Manufacturing Day is a national event that highlights the reality of modern-day manufacturing careers by encouraging companies and educational institutions to engage in one another during a planned event. Students divided into groups to tour several Martin County manufacturing and workplace facilities such as Gold Bond Building, where wall board is manufactured and distributed all over the country, Country Pines Printing to learn all things printing and distributing, J&R Tool where students learned how parts are made & distributed, and the Fab Lab at Loogootee Community Schools, where students and teachers can work on projects. đź’ˇÂ
